Genex Testing Policies

• Full payment is required at the time of booking.
• One complimentary reschedule is included with at least 24 hours’ notice.
• Cancellations made 24+ hours before your appointment: refunded less a $50 administrative/booking fee.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment: non-refundable.
• No-shows: non-refundable.
• A 15-minute grace period is provided for late arrivals.
• The mobile collection/travel fee becomes non-refundable once your collector has departed for your appointment.
• If Genex Testing must cancel your appointment, you may reschedule or receive an applicable refund.
• Weather, safety, or emergency situations are handled at Genex Testing’s discretion.

Mobile/in-home collection includes a travel fee based on distance and service area: Standard Mobile Collection +$99 (within Genex Testing’s standard Greater Houston mobile service area), Extended Mobile Collection +$129 (qualifying locations outside the standard area, subject to availability), or Special/Long-Distance Mobile Collection starting at $159 (requires Genex confirmation before booking). This fee is confirmed before your appointment is scheduled, and becomes non-refundable once your collector has departed.

Additional participants can be added to most tests for $95 per person, collected at the same appointment or scheduled separately.

Your personal information and test results are handled discreetly and confidentially. We do not share your information except as necessary to complete your testing with Alliance DNA Laboratory.

In the event of severe weather or an emergency affecting a scheduled appointment, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule at no additional charge.

Legal (chain-of-custody) tests require photo ID verification of all participants and follow a documented process suitable for court or official use. Non-legal tests are for personal knowledge only and are not intended for use in legal proceedings. Genex Testing, LLC is a specimen-collection service; sample analysis and lab accreditation are held by Alliance DNA Laboratory.
