What mobile collection means
Genex Testing offers DNA testing with convenient mobile/in-home collection – a trained specimen-collection specialist travels to a location you choose so you don’t have to come to us.
Your specimen is collected on-site using the same professional process as an in-office visit, then securely transported for laboratory analysis by Alliance DNA Laboratory. Genex Testing does not operate a mobile laboratory – all analysis takes place at Alliance’s accredited facility.

Specialist arrives
Your collection specialist arrives at the agreed location and completes the collection.
Samples sent to the lab
Your specimen is securely transported to Alliance DNA Laboratory for analysis.
Privacy & legal testing notes
Mobile collection is available for both legal and non-legal tests. For legal (chain-of-custody) tests, your collection specialist will verify photo ID for each participant on-site, exactly as would happen at a private appointment location. Your appointment is handled discreetly and confidentially from start to finish.
After your collection
Once your specimen is collected, it is transported to Alliance DNA Laboratory for analysis. Turnaround time depends on your specific test and will be confirmed for you at booking. We’ll follow up with next steps for receiving your results.
